Needing a new roof on my 24-year-old home, I started searching multiple online sites for roofing contractor reviews. I came across Blue Ribbon Roofing on the “Next Door” app by searching posts for roofer recommendations in the area. I scheduled a quote from them and two other roofing companies. Blue Ribbon’s bid was competitive, so along with their credentials and my subsequent search for reviews of them from other websites, it became an easy decision for me. The company uses satellite site survey technology to accurately size your roof, streamlining the process. When he came to my house for the proposal, they already knew all about my roof so he could spend more time describing their roofing products and services and answering my questions. The Owner, Steve made a thorough presentation of the roofing process with detailed explanations of materials used, why they’re used, and where they’re used. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He pointed out a design problem with my roof ventilation. The other contractors did not mention the vent issue. I easily verified that he was correct by Googling the vent problem he highlighted. His quote included correcting the ventilation design problem. He also gave me advice on shingle color choices to compliment my brick color, because I had no clue. Steve encouraged my questions, making sure that I had no concerns or questions about what I was purchasing. The Office Manager, Kirsten was very accessible, assisting through the process from the initial quote to the end of the job. She was great in helping me through the HOA approval process which required a couple exchanges with the HOA to answer all of their many questions. It was apparent to me that Kirsten is knowledgeable in the roofing business. Earnest, the Project Manager was on site, on time, and “hit the ground running”. The way his crew worked together made me believe they had been a team for a long time. It was obvious they were experienced. I could see that Earnest has the respect of his crew in the way he interacted with them and the feeling they were all enjoying the job. My new roof is beautiful! I highly recommend Blue Ribbon.

Eric and Ernest of Blue Ribbon Roofing went out of their way to make sure I am happy and satisfied with the new solar fan they installed on my roof, despite the difficulties and hardship the manufacturer of Attic Breeze had brought on us. I had one Attic Breeze solar fan AB-3523 installed on the roof recently. When it rained a few days after installation, rain got into the attic and caused water into my house through the ceiling. Eric and Ernest came to check and determined the fan was defective. Eric reached out to the manufacturer of Attic Breeze to request for a new replacement unit. Unfortunately, the manufacturer refused to replace the unit, and instead suggested to mend the situation by adding a flashing near the fan to divert water. I felt that the manufacturer of Attic Breeze was very ridiculous and totally irresponsible in denying a replacement unit after less than a month of purchase and installation!! Blue Ribbon Roofing ended up getting another brand new fan and replaced the defective one for me. Eric was very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. Thumbs up to Blue Ribbon Roofing!
I am very grateful to the staff and contractors of Blue Ribbon Roofing. My experience was excellent. From the first call to the final cleanup, they will be working diligently to help you. Even at the end of the roof replacement, the owner was still at my place checking if anything needed any further cleanup after the cleanup was over. The "leading from the front", the sense of ownership and pride in the work was visible and I knew then I made the right choice. These guys won awards the hard way by going above and beyond. The same for certification: they go through regular training to maintain certification with CertainTeed. These guys are the real deal, give them a call you will not be disappointed.
